Dermaceutic Milk Peel - Julie's Diary - Week 7

Julie ann fom.jpg

Hey everyone!!! πŸ‘‹πŸ‘‹πŸ‘‹

It's week 7 as #faceofmint and its time for my second milk skin peel in my course of Dermaceutic peels.
You get brilliant results from them and they are so quick and easy!!

There are different peels available at Mint to suit different skin types, but the milk peel is the one best suited to mine and my needs.

My skin was dehydrated with fine lines and patches of dryness and almost rough in parts. No matter how long I spent on my make up, it just didn't look right as my skin was so patchy underneath..... Nightmare! πŸ™ˆ

The milk peels are the mildest available and effectively help with deep exfoliation that works by breaking down the bonds that attach skin cells to each other. It can be really helpful in tackling textural issues like roughness or dry patches or even superficial pigmentation like light sun spots.

As I said, this was my second peel so I knew exactly what to expect.
The lovely Sheila in Mint is an expert in the Dermaceutics range and she done the peel process with me. First she cleansed my skin with the foamer15 cleanser from the Dermaceutic range and she then applied the milk peel solution which was left on the skin for no more than 2 minutes. Like before, it felt like a warm tingling sensation and Sheila gave me a little cooling fan to use during it. Then it was removed before I knew it.... Some super nourishing KCeutic repair cream was applied to my skin and I was done!! πŸ’«
Super quick, super easy and super results!!! βœ…βœ…βœ…

After my first peel, I had a bit of peeling/shedding in the first couple of days after on parts of my forehead and chin, which were my problem areas.
After my second peel there wasn't as much at all but I can feel my skin smoother, more taught and my pores, around my nose especially have definitely gotten tighter! .....hallelujah!!! πŸ‘πŸ‘

For best results, it's good to stay makeup free for the rest of the day after it. Then do a gentle cleanse the next morning. Then after that it's back to your normal routine and of course, not forgetting a good high factor Sun protection for your face EVERYDAY!! This is so important and should be part of everyone's skincare regime anyway. Its the biggest form of anti-aging when you think about it as it helps to block the suns harmful rays from damaging our skin. I'm using a fantastic one in factor 50 from the Dermalogica range 😊

If you do feel your skin is a little dry post peel, the Kceutic cream is brilliant to keep it hydrated... It's really only after 2weeks that you really start to notice the benefits and difference in your skin and I honestly notice a difference in mine. It's like it's been given an overhaul and I now have this lovely smooth canvas to work with... Even my makeup goes on better now! πŸ’„I'm delighted!πŸ‘Œ

It's definitely worth looking into, if like me... You just need a bit of an overhaul.... Which we all do from time to time!!! πŸ˜‰
Ask any of the girls in Mint for a little information on the skin peels and other treatments available and start your own little #mintjourney 😊😊

Hope this has been a helpful little insight! Xx

That's all for now,
See you again next time πŸ‘‹πŸ‘‹
