Ageing Skin

What is Ageing Skin?

Your skin changes as you age. It becomes thinner, making it less plump and smooth. You might notice age spots, dryness and wrinkles. Crow's feet around the eyes are often the first signs of loss of skin elasticity, followed by deepening of forehead lines and wrinkles, and laughter lines.

How your skin ages depends on a variety of factors including lifestyle, diet, smoking, genes and sun exposure. Exposure to sunlight is a major cause of symptoms of ageing. Protect yourself by using sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher, wearing protective clothing and avoiding sunbeds.  We recommend using Alumier MD Suncreens, available at Mint, which are free from chemical filters, parabens, sulfates, mineral oil and dyes.
