Hey all!!! 👋👋👋👋
Hope you're all keeping well 😊 xx
It's week 26 as face of Mint....
And I'm getting my brows done!
I literally had nare a brow to my name as you'll see from the before and after pics lol! 😂🙈
As always, I couldn't wait for my appointment with the #browgenius that is Mints head therapist, Marie 💚
And this week was extra special because Mint were taking part in "Brows For Barnardos" which is a great charity event that runs countrywide, where selected salons and spas participated by offering 20% of the cost of an eyebrow treatment, like plucking, tweezing, waxing or threading, to Barnardos.
Barnardos works directly with children and families who need it most, providing services and support in 40 centres around the country. They also campaign for the rights of children in Ireland and provide training, knowledge and resources to childcare professionals.
What a great cause!!! ❤❤❤

As always, Marie began with tinting my brows a lovely deep warm brown and then shaping them to perfection using the threading technique.
I love threading as I feel it's less pull on the skin and it gives great precision when shaping! 👌
Next it was onto nails with Lesley 💅
Lesley began by removing my old colour and then tidied up my cuticles and done all the necessary filing and buffing.
I felt like having something bright and fun to match the fab weather so I decided on a gorgeous fruity hot pink called "Tahiti" in the Gelish range and we added just a little sparkle to each ring finger ✨✨
I love the colour! Perfect to brighten your day 😊😊
When I got home, I decided to try out the Vita Liberata luxury self tan... This, along with other gorgeous Vita Liberata products are available to buy in Mint 💚
I applied the tanning lotion all over, using the tanning mitt. It spread very well and the tinted colour allowed me to see where I had covered so that I didn't miss any spots 😊
I left it on overnight and rinsed it off the following morning 🚿
I was left with a lovely warm, natural looking colour... no orange in sight 🍊🚫
...no smelly biscuity fake tan smell 🙅👃
I LOVED it.... It is officially my fave!!!! 🙌
I made the most of the fab weather by getting out and about when I could! 🌅
I went for a gorgeous hike up the Comeragh mountains and enjoyed the sunshine at the food festival in Dunmore East ....all the while, making sure my skin was protected slathering on the suncream!! This is soooo so important and is the BEST anti-aging tool you can use! (Prevention is key!) And being a red head with pale skin, I burn very easily so I really have to be careful!
I used Dermalogicas "Pure Light" spf50 on my face. This stuff is amazing, because not only does it work as a barrier to the suns nasty rays.... It also has a skin brightening agent, so that when used daily, you will see a big difference in your skin tone and appearance of sun spots/age spots.
Plus, it contains a complex of wonderful hyaluronic acid which is super hydrating and helps to battles those fine lines.
It's really light on the skin with a gorgeous fresh scent and it absorbs into the skin immediately, so your not left with that sticky feeling like some suncreams leave behind 👍
So really and truly, it's a great daily moisturizer with a high spf... It's a great multi-tasking product... What's not to love!!
They say it doesn't have to be a sunny day to need suncream....
For as long as there is daylight and you can see your hand in front of your face, you should be wearing an spf 💁
So make sure you are protected when you are having fun in the sun 🌞🌞aaaaaand on the cloudy days too ⛅⛅
That's all for this week guys and gals 😊
It was a quick little visit this time, BUT ....there's something SUPER exciting coming next week.
Soooo stay tuned!!!!!! Eeeeeek!! 🙈🙊😀
See you all soon!!!
Bye for now 👋👋👋
